Orange County Town Hall

Covered California is working hard to launch the Affordable Care Act—a historic expansion of affordable health coverage in our state.  Over five million Californians could benefit from coverage offered through Covered California; two million will be eligible for subsidies from the federal government.  To ensure the success of this effort, we need the help of community leaders and stakeholders across the state.

Our community-based approach to outreach begins with a series of regional town halls to provide an update to stakeholders and solicit feedback on efforts and plans.  Our next event will be held in Orange County.  We invite community leaders and key stakeholders to participate in the town hall closest to you.

Covered California Executive Director Peter V. Lee will lead a discussion to include:

  • An update on Covered California’s progress and current plans.
  • Outreach and community education strategies
  • What you can do to help ensure every Californian has access to affordable health insurance
  • Your feedback, questions, and comments
